There’s something about being 27 that hits differently
You’re officially past your early twenties — the wild, exploratory years when life felt like a choose-your-own-adventure book written in permanent marker. But for many of us, that marker starts running dry around this age. The bills pile up. The career path that was supposed to “just work out” now looks like a maze drawn by a caffeinated squirrel. And worst of all? The constant stress about money. It's like an app that runs in the background of your brain, draining your mental battery every single day.
That’s where I found myself.
27.
Tired.
Stressed.
I wonder how the hell I got on this treadmill, and more importantly, how to get off it.
But here’s the thing: I’m not writing this because I’ve “made it” or cracked some magical code to wealth (although if anyone’s got that, please DM me immediately). I’m writing this because I’ve started walking the path toward financial freedom — and I want to share that journey. Raw, real, and in real time.
Why Now?
Because if you’re feeling how I felt—overwhelmed, anxious, silently comparing yourself to everyone's curated success on Instagram—I want you to know you’re not alone. I used to think money problems were a “me” issue. That I had somehow missed the memo everyone else got on how to adult properly.
Turns out, a lot of us are just winging it. Quietly. Painfully. Alone.
But we don’t have to be.
What I’ve Learned (So Far)
I’ve realized that financial freedom isn’t just about making more money. It’s about understanding money. It’s about unlearning the fear, the shame, and the scarcity mindset we were taught. And yes, it’s about taking action—whether it’s starting a side hustle, investing smartly, or simply tracking where your cash is going.
My journey has included a mix of entrepreneurship, trial-and-error investing, learning how to budget (properly, this time), and most importantly, learning to be honest with myself.
What You Can Expect
I’m going to start sharing the behind-the-scenes:
-
The wins and the faceplants
-
The tools, habits, and mindset shifts that are helping
-
And the real-time lessons I learn as I build a life of freedom, on my own terms
Because if someone had told me at 27, “Hey, you’re not crazy—you’re just stuck in a system you were never taught to navigate,” it would’ve changed everything.
So that’s why I’m doing this. For me, yes. But also for you.
If you’ve ever felt like you're drowning in stress over money, if you've ever thought, “There has to be more to life than this,” then you’re exactly who I’m writing for.
We don’t need to have all the answers right now.
We just need to start asking the right questions—and maybe, walk this road together.
Financial freedom isn’t a fantasy.
It’s a strategy.
And I’m finally ready to play the long game.
Are you?
